  Skoda-Menck

I was scanning some old photos yesterday, among these this old Skoda-Menck.
Don´t know what model it is, but seems to be about the size of an Ma.
Once read an old article about it, and it was sold to sweden right after the war. The shovelequipment was not meant fot this machine but was modified to fit.

It is still in existance today owned by a collector in sweden.
Sorry about the bad quality of the photos, but they are scans from old papercopies.













Last but not least, found on flickr today, the one and only Menck MVII at work in sweden in 1934.

Very nice machine - tack . Seems to me a second surviving Mo has been discovered, from the dimensions it looks similar to the other recently discovered orange/rusty Menck. More info and pics would be appreciated, google did not give any hints neither in English nor Swedish about this rare Menck

Seems that it is situated in Skyttorp in sweden, but when I photographed in 1996 it was in Uppsala


Sadly there are only two more Mencks in Sweden, one of the older type M75 in working order and a M154, more or less a wreck.

Ich würde sagen; Skoda D500 in einer frühen Version - die späteren waren statt mit einer Löffelklappe mit einem Pendelschieber versehen.

This Skoda, does the dipper have the same mechanism as on Weserhütte?

Skoda changed the D500 dipper mechanism after a while from Menck Dipper construction style to this easier to produce Skoda Style;
